What's in the dataset: companies and founders
Feb 5, 2025
If you're considering using structured startup data, you probably want to know exactly what you get. Here's a concise overview: what's in the dataset, how it's organized, and how you can use it.
Company data
Each company record includes core profile fields: name, tagline, description, industry, location, and website. You also get social and profile links (LinkedIn, Twitter, GitHub, Crunchbase where available), plus structured tags so you can filter by segment or focus. Everything is normalized so names, URLs, and categories are consistent across the dataset.
Founder data
Founders are linked to companies. For each founder you get name, title, and when available bio and links (LinkedIn, Twitter, profile URLs). That lets you build people-centric lists—by company, industry, or region—and use the data for recruiting, outreach, or research.
Filter and export
The data is built to be filtered by industry, region, and other dimensions so you can pull exactly the slice you need. Export to CSV or use it in your own tools. No need to clean or normalize it first—that's already done.
Updated and maintained
The dataset is refreshed so companies and founders stay current. You get a single source of truth instead of one-off scrapes or stale spreadsheets. If you want to see the full field list or try a sample, we're happy to walk you through it.
